From your Grand Cru at Santiam Wine & Bistro

  • Santiam Wine and Bistro Red Cheap & Cheerful Notes All six wine for $85.50 after your discount of 10%.
    • 2021 Scaia Rosso, Corvia from the Vento Italy $15
A basked of raspberries filled to the brim with hints of bay leaf, and Sweet William flowers entrance the nose. Vibrant and fresh on the palate with tart wild red berries bounding across the palate as savory herbs, soft tannins and a pop of acidity all lift the finish. 90 points the Wine Enthusiast.
    • 2021 Llama Old Vine Cab Franc, Argentina $15 Belasco de Baquedano Llama Cabernet Franc is an attractive bright ruby color with violet hues. The nose shows great intensity. Fruity aromas ripe black fruits stand out against a back- ground of fine toasty hints from ageing in top-quality oak. This terroir driven Cabernet Franc boasts flavors of ripe blackberry and spicy pepper with sweet lingering tannins. 100% Cabernet Franc 91 Points James Suckling.
    • 2022 Llama Malbec 100-year-old vines, Argentina $15 A flavorful and chewy malbec with aromas of olives, black fruit, mocha, and tobacco. Full-bodied with excellent flavor concentration. 91 Points James Suckling
Wine Notes A modern wine that presents a bright ruby-red color. On the nose, it offers ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries, and plums, which integrate with toasty notes from aging in top-quality oak. On the palate, it is warm, rounded, and well-structured, with medium body, soft tannins, and a well-balanced finish.
    • 2019 Lunaria Montepulciano di ’Abruzzo, Italy $20. Impenetrable, ruby red, red fruit on the nose and black cherry jam on everything, light notes of cocoa and toasts complete the bouquet. In the mouth it is warm, rightly tannic, and therefore soft, intense, and with the typical almond finish. Pairs with cured meat, grilled and baked meat, pasta dishes with very structured sauces. Varietal: 100% Montepulciano
    • NV Roxy Ann Honor Barn Red, Rouge Valley $15 Our Honor Barn Red blend is a beautiful bouquet of blackberries, black cherries, and a hint of strawberry, balanced by toasty, oaky aromas. Flavors of blackberries, dusty cocoa, and sweet vanilla oak complement a dark red/violet hue, a medium-balanced structure with resolved tannins, and a soft finish.
    • 2022 Masseria Liveli Passamante Salice Salentino Italy $15 It has an intense, lively ruby red color. The nose presents itself with an intense perfume with marked sweet fruity notes, persistent with hints of fresh fruit and candied fruits. The flavors are balanced, soft, velvety, fresh, and fragrant, thanks to a pleasant underlying acidity that gives it vigor and persistence.

  • Santiam Wine and Bistro White Cheap and Cheerful for May 2025 $80.10
    • 2023 RoxyAnn Pinot Gris Rogue Valley $20. Smooth and round, this is a generous, ripe Pinot Gris with a distinct spiciness to the Bartlett pear, pineapple, and nectarine flavors that play well against the delicate citrus acidity and is our top-selling wine. Rich and full-bodied, our Pinot Gris is perfect for those seeking a lively mouthful of creamy, minerally-pear, stone-fruit, and pineapple flavors that linger on the harmoniously long and juicy finish.
    • 2023 Henri Bourgeois Sauvignon, Loire Valley $15. This wine captures some of the best elements that can infuse a Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Fragrant aromas of white peach and pomelo jump out of the glass and roll around in a bed of lime zest and field grass. The palate is more restrained than the nose and delivers reserved flavors of lemon citrus, crabapple and white nectarine.
    • 2024 Frenzy Mount Richmond Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough, New Zealand $16. Frenzy Sauvignon Blanc is a lively expression of New Zealand's Marlborough region. It bursts forth with vibrant citrus, zesty lime, and a hint of freshly cut grass. The palate is refreshingly crisp, with flavors of tropical fruit and a touch of minerality. Bright acidity carries through to a clean, invigorating finish. This Sauvignon Blanc is a true celebration of Marlborough, a delightful companion for a sunny day.
    • 2023 ZA ZA Garnacha Rose, Spain. $11.  ZaZa is made by the Santo Cristo winery, the third largest winery in the Campo de Borja region of Spain. The winemaker is Norrel Robertson, a Master of Wine, known as the wine world’s flying Scotsman, and a bit of a maverick as well. The wine is 100% Garnacha, grown on the slopes of Moncayo, the highest mountain in Aragon, and the average age of the vines is forty years. This is a fruit-driven rose with great complexity, fermented in oak and matured on the lees; it is full-bodied, crisp, and well balanced with a creamy mouthfeel and a long finish
    • 2023 Domaine Pajot Les 4 Cepages, Cote du Gascogne France $$12  Domaine de Pajot is located in Southwest France overlooking the capital of Armagnac, a region more well known for their brandy than table wines. The entire estate is certified organic, grown over rolling hills of mostly sand and fine silt soils, vines interspersed with hazelnut trees. 'Les Quatre Cépages' is a blend of 35% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Colombard, 20% Ugni-Blanc, 10% Gros-Manseng. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, this wine is dry, crisp, and well balanced. Pajot is our go-to pick for your event, pleasing everyone at a moderate price, or for enjoying at home as an aperitif or with fish and chicken dishes. ALC 11.5%
    • 2023 La Solitude Cotes du Rhone Blanc $15. This wine is a blend of three varietals. The Clairette brings the freshness and zest of citrus, the Viognier the aromatic depth and roundness, and the Grenache the notes of white flowers. The grapes are harvested early in the morning and completely destemmed. The fermentation in stainless-steel vats preserves the full aromatic freshness. The wine has a nose of citrus and apricots, a round and generous mouthfeel, and a fresh and flavorful finish. ALC 13%
