We enjoy helping our clients choose the perfect wine for their occasion, including wine pairings, wine tastings, gifts, specific food pairings, planning a wedding, party or whatever else! We would love to answer your questions and help make the perfect selection for you. At Santiam Wine & Bistro you can plan a private party, if the shop is available. And we aren't limited only to wines: we have some great balsamic vinegar, olive oils from Spain, France, Oregon and Italy, exotic salts, fabulous local & imported cheese; and meat & cheese platters to go and more!

      A rich, smooth style, delivering cherry, plum, iron and tobacco aromas and flavors. Balanced, with a solid line of tannins providing support. Sangiovese and Merlot. Drink now through 2025. 90 Points Wine Spectator
    • 2019 Delas Freres Cotes du Rhone France $15
      Fresh and inviting, with more fruit and depth than many of its peers. Offers a plum and cherry puree profile, laced with floral and red tea accents on the finish. Drink now through 2022. 90 Points Wine Spectator
    • 2019 Bodegas San Valero Plano Alto Garnacha & Carinena Spain $12
      The 2019 'Plano Alto' is fresh and inviting, as it opens to aromatics of black raspberries, wild cherries, pomegranate, sweet spices and fresh flowers which all jump from the glass. On the palate this is vibrant with fresh red berries, florals and spices. This is accessible today, but should continue to develop nicely over the next 2-3 years. 93 Points James Suckling
    • 2019 Robert Hall Artisan Collection Paso Robles CA. $15
      There is a strong aroma of dark woods like mahogany on the nose of this bottle as well as a fresher, slightly tart strawberry tone. Dried mushroom and forest duff flavors meet with ripe strawberry and cracked pepper on the palate. 90 Points Wine Enthusiast
    • Subsoil Cabernet Sauvignon Horse Heaven Hills AVA WA $17
      The Subsoil label Cabernet Sauvignon from Prosser, Washington's Mercer Estates offers rich aromas of ripe fig with prominent clove spice, dried mint, violet and herbes de Provence. On the palate, juicy flavors of black cherry and black raspberry show nice acidity and balanced by notes of, cocoa powder, peppery spice and a finish that shows black licorice and an elegant earthy minerality. AVA: Horse Heaven Hills, Washington JUDGES SCORE: 91 Points
    • 2019 Ensedune Coteaux D’Enserune Malbec France $13
      The particularly warm, dry climate of Coteaux d’EnsÚrune creates a unique and meticulous harvest of grapes for EnsÚdune Malbec. This wine balances fruity and floral notes. Cherry and raspberry initially touch the nose, followed by notes of licorice and peony to create a vibrant, bright finish. Pair with a decadent red meat to compliment the rustic, dryness of Ensedune Malbec. 90 Points DR

    • 2021 Giocato Pinot Grigio, Slovenia $11 This wine is light straw-colored with aromas of lemon zest and apple blossom. The palate expresses flavors of melon, apple, and cantaloupe. 88 Points Wine Enthusiast Twist Cap
    • 2021 Mud House Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand $14 This gorgeous example of Marlborough ‘Savvy’ has it all – snow pea, nettles, and guava on the nose, complemented by citrus and melon on the palate. Twist cap
    • 2019 Domaine Astruc Viognier, France $12 Bright gold yellow with yellow tints. Rich and elegant with a quintessence of dry fruits, peach, and white flower aromas with a hint of vanilla/ honey notes. Fresh and mellow with a long persistence finishing on toasted notes. Twist Cap
    • 2019 Il Forte Gavi, Italy $12 Straw, yellow color. The nose has scents of, pear, peach, apricot and yellow plum, the mouthfeel is fresh, sapid, easy to drink with a mildly almond finish. Harmonious and balanced. This wine can would be lovely served as an aperitif, recommended with light courses, fish dishes, fresh cheese and slightly spicy. Cork enclosure
    • 2021 Les Pouches Saumur AOP $14 Les Pouches is a single vineyard in the Village of Saumur is 100% Chenin Blanc. Light bodied and aromatic with notes of fuji apples, Meyer lemon, and a whiff of peach. This wine would pair nicely with razor clams! Twist cap
    • 2021 Collefrisio Pecorino Terre Di Chieti $16 The white wines made in Central Italy are not flashy or famous, but they can certainly be delicious. This area is known for making clean, light, white wines that are refreshing. You may not find famous grapes grown in this region, but you will find great values.
